I have 30 years of experience in these areas and work closely with farmers and agricultural businesses to improve productivity, sustainability, and overall efficiency in farming

What I Do:
 

• Advise on the best practices for cultivating all types of crops, including minor export crops.
• Provide expertise on animal husbandry, including livestock health, breeding, and nutrition.
• Guide farmers in mushroom cultivation, focusing on best practices, substrate preparation, and yield improvement.
• Conduct training programs, workshops, and field visits to help farmers implement modern agricultural techniques.
• Assist in developing sustainable farming methods to improve yields and protect the environment.
• Work with farmers to analyze and solve agricultural challenges, ensuring better productivity and profitability.

I have worked in Sri Lanka’s government and private agriculture sectors for over 30 years, gaining hands-on experience in agricultural projects, policy implementation, and farmer training programs. My deep knowledge of the field has helped countless farmers adopt better farming techniques and improve their agricultural output.

I hold a Diploma in Agriculture from Aquinas College of Higher Studies, and my life-long passion for farming and sustainable agriculture drives me to share this knowledge and support farmers in adopting efficient, environmentally friendly practices.
